Running through Nahuel Huapi National Park near the Argentinean border with Chile, Rio Manso offers the perfect adventure for those looking to experience great white water rapids not far from Bariloche. With cool, turquoise waters and rapids that range from laid back Class II to adrenaline pumping Class IV and V, rafting this Patagonian waterway is an excellent way to satisfy your thrill-seeking desires while also taking in the pristine beauty of one of the country's most majestic national parks. Experienced kayakers may want to test these waters on their own, but for those with less know-how we recommend heading out with a guided group (check out pictures of the Los Alerces waterfall to see what we mean).
Location:Nahuel Huapi National Park, Rio Negro, Argentina
Note:Manso River also happens to be home to some incredible fly fishing destinations for those who prefer catching trout to fighting rapids. Just thought we'd mention it.
