South of central Mendoza lies the little upscale suburb of Chacras de Coria. Quaint, picturesque and less congested than the city, you'll find a number of relaxing eateries, cafes and wine bars scattered throughout the center of the town. Towards the outskirts however, on Ruta Panamericana, the scene gets somewhat rowdier. Young 20 and 30 somethings from the city flock here Wed-Sat nights to get in on the action at any of the area's rocking, and often fluctuating, boliches (clubs with an Argentinean flare). It's a cheap cab ride so, if you're looking for some entertainment outside of Av. Villanueva, why not check it out?
