Sounding like a town out of medieval-based fantasy literature, Blackwall Reach is a section of the Swan River in the Perth suburbs where it nears the ocean. Part of a larger natural area called Point Walter, Blackwall Reach is known for its limestone cliffs, which have become a notorious cliff-diving spot for those who like their excitement a bit more unadulterated. Since the cliffs get to be around 15 meters (50 feet) high, we suggest jumping with care. This whole area is also notable for rock climbing and scuba diving, although don’t expect to find coral or colorful fish, but old bikes, cars, and other cast-off garbage. If you’re walking around Perth looking for something a little crazy to do, you may have stumbled upon the right activity… add it to your itinerary now!
