Nicknamed “The Coathanger”, Sydney Harbour Bridge is the biggest steel arch bridge on Earth. A truly iconic symbol of Australia, the bridge can be accessed on foot from a number of points for free, although when driving there are possible tolls, depending on the time of day. More than just a beautiful structure, there are two worthy adventure attractions on the bridge: the first is the Southeast Pylon, which has a viewing platform, Aboriginal museum, and other correlated services, the other is the BridgeClimb, a tourist service that provides a secured, three and a half hour climb up the arches to the top of the bridge. The cost varies by date, time, and type of climb, but usually runs around A$200. Despite the price, this is truly a one-of-a-kind adventure for the adrenaline-fueled adventurer.
