A great place for haggling and people-watching, the Feirinha da Beira Mar is a handcraft market that opens its hundreds of stalls along Meireles Beach every day at 4pm. Here you'll find everything from cachaca (sugarcane liquor) to hammocks and wooden sculptures.
Take an evening to stroll, and make sure to bring your game face if you want the cheapest prices. It's also quite close to Iracema and Dragao do Mar, making for a quick walk and an ever quicker bus ride if you plan on spending the rest of your night at establishments in that area.
