With an architectural design often compared to the Sydney Opera house (the five sails that comprise its roof), Canada Place is the most recognizable landmark in Vancouver. A massive cultural center, it is the premiere host of conventions, cruise ship, and cultural events like Canada Day. Most popular for tourists is the Canadian Trail, a selection of colored glass and tiles representative of the whole country, located on the west promenade.
Our opinion? A great place to snap some pictures, especially during the nightly Sails of Light, but there isn't a lot to keep you here for any length of time; especially if you're looking to enjoy the multitude of parks and active locales in and around Vancouver.
