    • Summary

Located near popular attractions like the City God Temple and the Yuyuan Tourist Mart, as well as many examples of the old town's preserved architecture, the Yuyuan Garden is an excellent place to take in the natural beauty and ornamentation of 400 years of cultivation. Bristling with a number of pavilions and halls, as well as ancient trees and ponds, the garden's most popular attraction is the Exquisite Jade Rock. This massive boulder is unique in that water trickling through the top is dispersed through holes in the bottom. Destroyed by a history of turmoil, the garden was rebuilt in the mid-20th century and has been a well-preserved and popular tourist attraction ever since.

    Location:Shanghai

Note:Both Sansui Hall and Dianchun Hall are highlights.
