Croatia's oldest museum houses artifacts from throughout history, including exhibitions from regional sites and ruins (Salona, Issa, and Narona). At the entrance to the building is an atrium, which displays some of the larger artifacts of the museum, like various Roman mosaics and sarcophagi. It is well worth the 20 kuna ($3.50 US) , although we wouldn't mind paying a little more if it were to fund needed upkeep and renovations.
Note:Located at Zrinsko - Frankopanska 25, Split. Closed on Sundays.
