You cannot go to Cuba without discovering this amazing, savage part of its countryside, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The colors here are amazing and so vivid. It is as if nature decided to follow the rules of colors in painting, mixing red (of the soil) and green (of leaves and trees). The landscape is well-known for the mogotes, which are isolated chalky hills with a curved shape. Some Cuban people offer to help you climb them, but there is no official institution yet, so be careful. My advice is to ride a horse, go through tobacco crops and explore the valley. Many guides there will propose you to visit a cave, with pure, non-polluted water: a true experience!
