With the most nightlife choices out of any street in Birmingham, Broad Street is a prime destination for the pub-crawlers and nightlife-wanderers amongst us. At it's north end is Centenary Square, popular for its Ferris wheel and a crop of attractive public buildings, while the street is cut in half by the canal, around which a number of trendy establishments have developed. The southern half is where the majority of nightlife destinations can be found and where we encounter the purpose of this summary.
With something like forty drinking establishments on this and the surrounding streets, you'll not need to go anywhere else for a hectic and exciting night. Clubs of note include Gatecrashers and Reflex, while pubs abound around every turn; try proper spots like The Old Joint and Stock and The Figure of Eight. There is also a comedy club (Highlight) and a vodka bar (Revolution) to provide a bit of variety in picking your poison.
