The SS Great Britain holds a place in history as the first iron steamer to cross the Atlantic in 1845. By far the largest ship of its time, the Great Britain sits today in the dry dock in Bristol where it was originally built.
A massive, ornate ship, tours are allowed daily on deck and inside, where much of the workings and fixtures of hits heyday have been restored, including the galley, the living quarters, and more. Adult tickets are about $20 USD, so if you aren't a boating history buff, then you ought to find a club football match to check out. It just may be a bit more exciting.
