A highly revered resort community to the south, Bournemouth is one of the best beach cities in England, boasting a handful of blue-flag beaches, consistently warm water, and some significant coastal attractions and activities. The Central Gardens are a miles long public park that culminates in the sea at Bournemouth Pier, where you'll find a number of shops and a stimulating beach environment.
Just offshore you'll find Boscombe Surf Reef, an artificial reef created to serve consistent breaks to the surfing community. With Boscombe Beach, Fisherman's Walk, Durley Chine, and more, you'll find plenty of sand, sun, and safe water-sportin at this gem on the English Channel.
