Twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays) the 11th arrondissement's Boulevard Richard-Lenoir is transformed into one of Paris' most vibrant and abundant markets, selling the kinds of delicious cheese, poultry, fish and produce that will make their way onto tables in some of the city's finest restaurants. Luckily for you, they're available here sans the Michelin Star markup. Prices range from bargains to expensive, so it's best to shop carefully lest you get carried away with the charm of the place (it has a way of doing that with first time visitors). Rest assured, however, that you will leave with not only delicious food, but a truly memorable Parisian experience.
