Billed as one of the largest and most condensed areas of drinking and debauchery in all of Europe, Kultfabrik is over thirty bars, clubs, and music venues packed into a huge, graffiti-spattered old factory facility. From 11pm-5am nightly, you can join the young and party-oriented in a variety of music and drinking environments broad enough to meet nearly any taste.
This being said, there are some things to be aware of as an international traveler. First off, it's widely noted that there are frequently reservations about letting in non-German speakers in on busy nights, while there have also been numerous reports of travelers being barred entry to due discriminatory practices. Also, some of the more popular clubs will charge a pretty hefty entrance fee (upwards of $25 USD) on the weekends, so we suggest having a few drinks beforehand or lingering in some of the cheaper bars in the area. Kultfabrik isn't known for its ingenuity and questionable door practices have left some in a sour mood, but if you're looking to forget about life for a while with cheap drinks and loud music, then Kultfabrik fits the bill.
Note:You'll find Kultfabrik at Grafingerstrasse 6.
