So off-the-beaten-path that you'll be hard-pressed to ever find tourists here, Turtle Bay is a great place to take it easy and enjoy the picturesque rocks that crop up from the sea. Named for the turtle-shaped monolith that rises from the water, we suspect the adventure side of this activity will be in getting there.
Located in the Portland area, just off of Long Road near the small community of Hector's River, you'll need to ask one of the locals exactly where to find it because it is apparently a well-kept secret. Once you're there, hop in the water and head out to the rocks if you feel daring. Why not? You've found a hidden gem in Jamaica!
Note:While you're in the Portland area, be sure to also check out Reach Falls! The location on your map is approximate.
