A popular beach on the Straits of Malacca, Teluk Batik is a great place to catch some rays and relax for a bit. That being said, the only reason you're going to choose this beach is not because it stands out among a stiff selection of competitors, but because much of the Perak coast is poorly maintained and this is the best you've got.
There are food and souvenir stalls, as well as a snorkeling area and a number of resorts and hotels, in case your thinking of sticking around. Located conveniently between Pangkor (Pulau Pangkor) and the bigger cities of Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur, this is where you adventurers will find yourselves if you don't feel quite comfortable straying too far from your principal destinations.
