Think of cities famous for street art and your mind probably jumps to the likes of Rio and Berlin. In Bratislava however, the capital of Slovakia, there is an overwhelmingly pleasant world of urban discoveries for you to find. Across the city, you will find highly detailed stencils, elaborate free hand sprays, commissioned pieces, and even street art in places where you wouldn't quite to expect it, such as in these old windows. With your eyes open, you will find so much more than you first thought - just take the slow route and don't look too hard - the street art is there and you can't help but find it.
To start your journey, head to the main bus station where you will find the pillars have been decorated extensively with many commissioned sprays. From here, walk away from the river, climbing up the road where you see more sprays - this is one of the most widely decorated streets and from here, you will see a church on your right hand side, behind which this particular picture was taken. Aside from that, head in any direction and you will find countless delights. The city is a canvas.
