Among the many caves along the Walker Bay coastline is one of incredible cultural importance, the Klipgat Cave. This cave is salient due to the artifacts that have been found there demonstrating the existence of Stone Age life (over 70,000 years ago) on a local scale. At the moment, there are plans in progress to make it more of a tourist venue by adding decks and viewing areas. Until then, it retains the sense of authenticity most adventure seekers are looking for. Check out the included Gansbaii tourism resource for further information on this and other nearby attractions.
