The best spot for snorkeling on the island, Cala Mastella is a small cove on the eastern coast known for its clear waters and tranquil vibes. A conveniently enclosed inlet surrounded by green-tufted rocks, Cala Mastella's biggest appeal may be that the majority of tourists have not caught onto it yet.
Around the rocky outcroppings is an authentic Ibicenco restaurant (El Bigote) that only takes reservations in person, because not only do they not have a website, but they don't even have a land-line phone. Now THAT is a traditional restaurant.
Close to Cala Llena and about a half an hour northeast from Ibiza Town, there's no reason to spend an afternoon soaking up the sun in Cala Mastella!
