On everyone's list of things to do in Ibiza (and hence, why it ends up being quite crowded), the Hippy Market is just what the name implies. There are lots of local crafts, spontaneous musicianship, and a laid-back environment. Entrance is free and most of the stalls are moderately priced, although, unlike other cultural markets, you won't find much room for haggling! Located in Es Canar on Wednesdays and in San Carlos year round on Saturdays, you'll also find a number of other smaller markets wherever you may be staying. Even if it isn't your style, it may a good idea to stop out on your way back from the beach to pick up something the folks at home may appreciate. Check the included page for more information.
