One of a handful of prize beaches of Menorca (also check out Cala Macarella and Cala Preganda), Cala Galdana is a resort and beach situated along a beautiful, cliff-terraced bay on the south coast. Although there is some exclusivity here that doesn't pervade the rest of the island, there's no need to start turning your nose up and lining up for Botox injections. Enjoy the modern facilities and water sports available (snorkeling, scuba diving, etc.) before accessing other nearby adventures. Head east along a coastal path to enjoy the secluded beauty of Cala Mitjana or head north of the beach toward inland Ferreries, where the limestone escarpments of the Algendar Gorge add a nice touch of biodiversity to the island landscape.
