A system of underground caverns on the east coast of Mallorca, the Cuevas del Drach are a unique tourist draw... and no, they aren't paying us to say that. When you throw stalactite and stalagmite formations together with a subterranean lake, you really can't go wrong. Then again, there is a certain cheese factor that just may make Embark purists shudder. Not only are you jostled by boat loads of tourists, but the forced theatricality of a light show choreographed with classically trained musicians in a rowboat might be a bit much. Still, for one of the largest subterranean lakes available to the public, you can to part with about 16 USD and a little bit of cheese.
Note:The Cuevas del Drach are directly east from Palma de Mallorca on the Ma-15 at just over an hour's drive.
