Since its introduction to the rock climbing scene in 1998, Crazy Horse Buttress has become recognized as a world class destination not only for its incredible beauty and selection of climbs, but also for the environmental care which has gone into maintaining it. To get there, climbers need only drive 40 km east along Route 1317, making it an easily accessible adventure for anyone looking to get out of the city for the day to tackle one of the buttress's extensive supply of expertly-maintained routes.
