If you've ever dreamed about hiking to an oasis, now is your chance! Nestled in heart of Cleveland National Forest, the Three Sisters Waterfalls Trail is one of the most rewarding day-hikes in the San Diego area. The trail is approximately 4 miles total and offers plenty of challenges for the advanced hiker, including a steep 300-foot descent, climbing up and around boulders, and rappelling down a mini cliff. The temperature can often be very hot depending on the time of year, but the waterfalls and pools at the end of the trail more than make up for it. When the falls are full in the Spring, the bottom waterfall forms a natural waterslide.
