Our one day Chiang Mai trekking tour begins at 8 AM when we pick you up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai. Then we drive for around an hour and enter Mae Wang national park. Our drop off point is a local Shan village. Your guide can show you around the village and explain local customs and traditions. From there we trek in the countryside and enjoy the wonderful scenery for about an hour and a half. The path leads us over paddy fields to a local waterfall where we take a short break. This is a great place to swim, chill out and relax for a while. Then we start trekking again for another forty minutes through lush rain forest to a local Karen village, where we stay as guests of the village and eat lunch. This is another great opportunity to learn about the lifestyles of this hill tribe community from your guide. After lunch, we say goodbye to the villagers and enjoy a longer three hour trek to our final destination and pick up point, a local Karen village. We can make stops along the way and enjoy the scenery. Here our Chiang Mai trekking tour ends, the driver is waiting for us to take us back to Chiang Mai.
