Explore one of the trails in the area with the highest concentration of waterfalls in the country- the columbia river gorge! The eagle creek trail is full of surprises and you'll never find them all in one trip unless you know where to look. A relatively slow-paced adventure, this trail takes us 6 miles into the wilderness and is perfect for a day-long trip in the outdoors. For the sure of foot only: side trails and scrambles are required to get to some of the best spots. Adequate footwear is recommended too as 12 miles is no walk in the park for your tootsies! Some food may be provided but it would be a good idea to bring snacks and plenty of water. See you on the trail :) Side note: this hike can be done rain or shine- rainy days bring fog in the gorge and make for some stunning photos
Most weekends, mondays and wednesdays
I've hiked/backpacked this trail about 6 times now and have taken the time to explore most of the nooks and crannies (although i seem to find something new and exciting with every trip!)
Full refund 2 days prior to tour.
Eagle Creek trailhead, I84 exit 41
  • Day 1
This trip is best begun early, especially on weekends, so meetup at the trailhead at 8am. We'll hike up the trail making pit stops at waterfalls for photos, reverence, and snacks along the way and make a lunch stop at the last waterfall before we make our trek back. Expect to be back to the trailhead by 2 or 3pm. It can be arranged to leave later or make the trip longer to stop for swimming if the day is warm enough!
