Upper and Lower Panther Creek Falls on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. This tour requires some moderately difficult climbing skills to reach the lower falls.
Weekends and some holidays.
I have photographed this area many times. My Upper Panther Creek Falls image was a contender in the 2014 Outdoor Photographer Magazine Great American Landscape contest.
These falls are best photographed from late April to late June.
Bring your camera gear, tripod and a change of clothing / shoes as you are going to get wet.
Full refund 2 days prior to tour.
Cascade Locks, Oregon.
From Cascade Locks we will cross the Bridge of The Gods and travel about 20 miles into Washington State to the trailhead above the falls. The falls are only minutes from the parking area. The lower falls require climbing down a couple small cliffs. Handholds and footholds make this relatively easy with my assistance. Getting the best photographs will require getting into the water up to waist level depending on the water level.
