Fantastic under the radar hike in the Columbia River Gorge. We start at the John B Yeon Trailhead with a nice warmup and a get a great view of the 200+ foot Elowah Falls. From there it's a 2000 foot elevation gain to some of the best and most unique scenery in the Gorge. Munra Point is at the convergence of three knifeblade ridges and offers stunning views of the Columbia River, Mt Hamilton, Table Mountain and more. Watch hawks fly in the valleys below from the exposed summit. We will take some time on the way up for plenty of water breaks and a snack on top of the mountain to refuel as this is definitely a workout - your calves will scream on the way up and your quads will want to cry on the way down. It's about 6 miles round trip. Need basic scrambling ability to reach the summit. Bring plenty of water. No pets.
