Cusco Piscacucho Km. 82 Wayllabamba. Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hostel and take a bus to the beginning of the Inca Trail (know as km 82) The ride is aprox. 3 hours but before arrive to the Km. 82 we are going to stop in Ollantaytambo which is a small town along the Sacred Valley of the Incas to have breakfast and also you can buy different thing for your trekking such as coca leaves, sunscreen, plastic rain ponchos, etc. When we get to Km. 82 we will check-in at the first Control point with your ticket and Original Passport (make sure you have the same passport number when you made your reservation). After the Control point we will walk 6 hours to our first Campsite Wayllabamba (3000 m.a.s.l.). On the way we will have an opportunity to see the third sacred highest snow cap mountain of Cusco Wacaywillca (Veronica) 5800 m.a.s.l. Lunch & Dinner are provided.
Day Wayllabamaba – Pacaymayu. Wake up call will be early in the morning to continue on the Sacred Trail. Day two we will climb Dead Woman`s Pass, the highest mountain of the whole trek, which is at 4215 m.a.s.l. and then continue down to our second campsite at Pacaymayu 3600 m.a.s.l. The hike is approx. five hours to the next campsite. On the way we will see the amazing landscape of the Andes. At the campsite we will have lunch and then the afternoon will be free. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are provided.
Day Pacaymayu – Wiñaywayna. Wake up call will be early in the morning to continue on the Sacred Trail, in this case we are going to climb two mountains the first one at 3950 m.a.s.l. and the second one at 3650 m.a.s.l. To get to the first pass will be aprox. 1 ½ hours. Half way up we will visit one archeological site called Runkurakay. From there we will hike 1 ½ hours down hill to have lunch (3500 m.a.s.l.) but before we arrive at our lunch spot we will visit another archeological site called Sayacmarca. After lunch we will walk 1 1/2 hours to Phuyupatamarca Pass. The trail to the top is unforgettable because the scenery is just mesmerizing; from the top we can see Machupicchu mountain, the Vilcabamba range and the Urubamba river. It will be two more hours all the way down hill to Wiñaywayna. Camping site (2700 m.a.s.l.). Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are provided.
Day Wiñaywayna – Machupicchu. Wake up call is at 04:00 a.m. to go to visit one of the New Seven Wonders of the World MACHUPICCHU. We will meet to have breakfast, then head to the Check Point to show our tickets . The walk to Machupicchu will be two hours but first we will stop at the Sun Gate because the view of Machupicchu is amazing. Once we arrive at Machupicchu we will take a tour then you will have free time to explore Machupicchu by yourself (To Climb Waynapicchu mountain, nowadays the limit is 400 persons per day when we arrived there, most of the time the mountain is full already) and around 2:00pm in the afternoon we will meet up in Aguas Calientes to have lunch ( optional) and give you your train tickets to Cusco (Some times the train will go directly to Cusco ( 4 hours). Or 2 hours to Ollantaytambo town where we will wait for you to go to Cusco by bus 2 more hours) we will drop you close to the Main Square in Cusco.
