Uncover the vestiges of the two fairs in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens as well as a few secrets and mysteries the park harbors, hidden in plain sight. This park is a photographer's dream. Visit the iconic NY State Pavilion and Unisphere, look for a few time capsules and uncover the second oldest outdoor antiquity in New York City. There will be a lot more. Our goal will be to time-travel back to the 1964 Worlds Fair! Remember the climax of Men in Black, where the NY State Pavilion towers reveal themselves to be a spaceship? Let's see if that's true.
Year round, advance notice is required.
I've spent years exploring and photographing this park. It's a chapter in my book "Hiking the Road to Ruins". I am a licensed NYC sightseeing guide.
  • Lunch
There are many things to do after the tour at additional expense: the Queens Museum of Art (and the scale model Panorama of NYC), Hall of Science, carousel and zoo.
Full refund 2 days prior to tour.
