...and the Observatory, plus a garden, great Hollywood Sign views (and maybe even a secret spot) in between! This is a challenging, mid-paced early morning hike around 2 hours in duration (including stopping time). Being a morning hike, you will have the rest of the day to do other things. Standing atop Mt Hollywood, with all of LA at your feet, is a great way to start your day! The clear morning sky, the clouds and sun rising helps gain perspective on ourselves and the day ahead... We'll stop at multiple interesting spots mentioned along the way to rest and explore. There are water fountains and bathrooms at the halfway point both up and down (Griffith Observatory grounds). I've been hiking through out Griffith Park for 8 years and this is one of the park's most varied and enjoyable routes.
