Two nights of quality, secluded and comfortable primitive camping at a park somewhere in the NYC area or possibly beyond. There are many options for places to pitch our tent but they change with the seasons. We will either backpack, bike or canoe to our campsite where we'll survive for a few days: gathering and cutting fire wood, getting water, cooking, maintaining the camp and so on. Some gear is available for loan on a limited basis. I guarantee the availability of hot showers and hot coffee... no reason to suffer! Prior camping experience is not necessary, but a positive attitude is essential.
Year round.
I am a licensed NYC sightseeing guide and author of "Hiking the Road to Ruins". I've been seeking prime primitive campsites my whole life.
