Zadar – Levrnaka
We will leave Zadar (Sv. Filip Jakov) in early morning, by motor vessel. On our 4 hour passage to Levrnaka where we will set up camp, we will sail among different islands and islets. Our first mission after arrival will be setting up camp and after the rest of the day will be free to explore the wilderness of the island and some swimming on a beautiful Caribbean-like beach Lojena, just meters from the camp. For dinner we will meet in a family tavern, where we will also have short briefing about adventure that is ahead of us.
Levrnaka – Kornat
Strong breakfast is a must and after that we will go through some paddling techniques and safety measures. On a first day we will paddle to island of Kornat, where we will visit Fort Tureta from 6th century and little church called Tarca, Queen of the sea from Byzantine era. After that we will paddle to nearby cove of Kravljačica and hike to the highest peak of Kornati islands, Metlina (237m). From top you can see the whole Kornati archipelago as well as some other islands and mainland. After our descent we will enjoy life on a beach in Kravljačica and later paddle back to our camp for a dinner and a good night sleep.
Levrnaka – Nature Park Telascica
Today our kayaks will take us to nature park Telaščica, amazing place that borders with Kornati. When we reach Lojišće Cove on Dugi otok, we will lift our kayaks out of water and hike to Lake Mir and to the top of big 186m cliffs that we will paddle under later. Afterwards we will paddle back to camp.
Levrnaka – Mana – Lavsa
Today we will paddle south, first to mysterious island of Mana where there are remains of a fort at the top of the cliff. Mana will also impress you with its 1350m long cliff crown. We will continue towards island Piškera where we wil have lunch while listening to a story about islands history. Back in 16th century Piškera was fishing village with some 40 houses. Remains of this Roman village can still be seen in the sea. After some rest we will continue to beautiful bay on island Lavsa where we will set a camp for the night.
Lavsa – Ravni Žakan
Another fishing village has had a big impact on the area in the past, Ravni Žakan. To reach it, we will paddle between many islands including Klobučar, the island with biggest cliff in Kornati (80m). For another night Lavsa will be our host and its historical remains and stories our entertainer.
Lavsa – Veli Rašip – Levrnaka
It’s time to go back to our camp, but the route will first take us to Veli Rašip and its turquoise waters.
Today is reserved for short kayak trip or resting on our “home” beach Lojena. In the evening we will visit Mana once again for a stunning sunset where you can collect your impressions in peace and stunning view. One last dinner awaits us and hopefully long night of stories and impressions.
Levrnaka – Zadar
It’s time to pack and sail back to reality. Arrival in Zadar is planned for 1:00pm or by agreement.
