Rock climbing is already a popular hobby for many in the Pacific NW, and it's becoming increasingly popular by the year. If you don’t want to get left behind, this class on beautiful Mt. Erie is a great way to start! The heart of rock climbing is outdoors on real rock; indoor gyms are nice but not comparable to the real thing. You have to experience it for yourself - the exhilaration of connecting to real rock and the natural environment . This particular location just happens to be one of our guides' favorites. If you have no experience or intermediate experiences this class is for you.
Year Round (weather permitting)
Adventure Terra is a rock climbing guide service that also offers other unique adventures in Washington State. Our guides, most of whom have 20+ years of tree climbing and rock climbing experience, are all certified and lots of fun to be around. To get to Mt. Erie, take exit 230 off I-5 at Burlington and take SR 20 west for about 15 minutes. Eventually you will come to a stoplight that you will need to take a left on to remain on "SR 20" that also heads out towards Deception Pass (worth seeing on its own). In a few miles you will need to turn right onto Campbell Lake Road. Mount Erie will be visible on the right. In a few more miles the Mount Erie Grocery marks the right-hand turn onto Heart Lake Road, & in one more mile the state road to the top will branch off to the right. Several miles up the winding road leads to the summit parking areas. Approx. 1h 30m from Seattle.
Full refund 14 days prior to tour.
