This tour is a canoe day trip into the Estero de Limantour State Marine Reserve in Point Reyes. We will get on the water at the Limantour Beach Parking lot and canoe out through the tidal flats towards the end of the Limantour Beach Spit, where we will beach and have a picnic. This area is protected from the ocean by the spit but full of life. Expect to see egrets, herons, pelicans, other shorebirds - and no other people out on the water.
Weekends. Access to the Estero limited by tides, contact me for confirmation
