This 2-Day Course is designed to take you to the next step in your trad and anchor climbing. With professional guidance the skills taught and practiced on this course will take you to the great faces and walls of the world. Climbers should be able to follow 5.7.
Skills Taught but not limited to:
*Pre-climb planning, climbers resources, and how to read *route descriptions.
*Rock quality evaluation.
*Gear placement evaluation.
*Gear placement as it pertains to movement on route.
*Lead belaying and top managed belays.
*Lead climbing psychology and communication.
*Advanced rappelling and descent options.

Our guides are patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly qualified to share that experience and love of the mountains. Our guides customize each trip or course to the needs, wants and objectives of the individual or group. Our guides possess current Wilderness First Responder certification, and are very active in the discipline they are instructing with a minimum of 5 years experience in such discipline. ALL of our guides have training from the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). We believe in training and certification though the AMGA to raise the standards of working professional mountain guides and provide a better, safer experience for our guests.
Rock shoes, harness, helmet, belay device (PPAS recommends the Petzl Reverso or Black Diamond ATC Guide), traditional gear with full range through 3.5 inch cams and full single set of nuts, quick draws (10-12), 2-3 double length shoulder slings, 1 20-foot section 6-7mm cordellette, 5 locking carabineers and a nut cleaning tool.
