Learn the basic tools to identify mushrooms, guidelines to distinguish edible varieties from toxic ones all in Colorado's beautiful front range and beyond. Day long hikes, and education in beginner mushroom identification and safety. The tours will be normally minutes from the Denver Metro area. A great chance to learn about your natural world and the Colorado areas ecosystems!
Every other Friday, May- Sept. Beginning May 13th. Last Sundays, May- Sept. Beginning May 29th.
I am a member, and volunteer at the Colorado Mycological Society, I have experience guiding forays, and five years studying mycology. I have certification in CPR, and blood bourn pathogen exposure control. I have lived in Colorado by entire life, and not one year have I missed time in the mountains!
