This is a full day privately guided city tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. It's an eight hour tour of city by a private car with a chauffeur & Tour guide. TOUR ITINERARY Meeting Point- Your Hotel Lobby or Airport or Railway Station Suitable Timing- 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Tour Duration- 8 Hours approximately I'll meet you in the hotel lobby with my chauffeur 15 minutes before our schedule time. After pickup from hotel will proceed for Old Delhi first because after 12:00 o'clock it will be very crowded so it good to finish earlier. 1 STOP.- JAMA MASJID It is the biggest mosque of India, built by Shahjahan in the middle of seventeenth century. More the 20000 thausand people can pray in on time in this mosque. It is a fine example of Indian & Mughal architecture. Entrance fees- free Camara fees- 300 ( Per Camara ) 2 STOP- CYCLE RIKSHAW RIDE IN CHANDNI CHOWK. This is a cycle Rikshaw tour of Chandni Chowk & Spice market to explore the Chandni Chowk and Spice market. Chandni Chowk is the biggest & oldest street market of Delhi which is almost 400 years old. Chandni Chowk mean " Moon light market ". All the shopkeeper of Old Delhi used to setup a street market in the light of moon for the Royal ladies because these ladies were not allowed to come in open market in day time . Entrance Fee - 200- 500 ( Per Person) No Camara fee 3 STOP- RED FORT UNESCO SITE ( Monday closed ) It was the palace of Royal family of India. It was also built by Shahjahan, the founder of Taj Mahal. Entire fort was built by red sandstone that's way it's known as Red Fort. Entrance fees- 500 Per Person Camara fees- free 4. STOP- RAJ GHAT This is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. People travel to this place from all over the world to pay their homage to Mahatma Gandhi. Entrance fees- free Camara fees- free 5 STOP- INDIA GATE This is the national monument of India & central point of New Delhi. It's an war memorial built by the British army in 1931. It was inspired by Arc de triomphe which is in Paris, France. Entrance fees- free Camara fees- free 6 STOP- PRESIDENT HOUSE & PARLIAMENT BUILDING These buildings also built by Britishers in the starting of twentieth century when they transferred their capital from Kolkata to Delhi that's way all the building are known as British building. It is not allowed to go inside without special permission. Entrance fees- free Camara fees- free 7 STOP- LUNCH We have ever kind of food in Delhi but we advise you to try Indian food in a local restaurant. It's not compulsory if you want you can skip this. Approximate cost - 500-1000 ( Per Person ) 8 STOP- HUMAYUN'S TOMB UNESCO SITE This is the tomb of Humayun who was the second Mughal emperor of Indian in the middle of sixteenth century. It was the first building in Persian style in India. It was built by his widow Hamida Bano Begam. The world famous building Taj Mahal was inspired from this monument. Entrance fees- 500 ( Per Person ) Camara Fees- free Video Camera Fees- 25 9 STOP- LOTUS TEMPLE It is a Baha'i house of worship built in 1986. The temple was inspired by Sydney Opera House. ( Monday Closed ) Entrance fees- free Camara fees - free 10 STOP- QUTUB MINAR UNESCO SITE This is the oldest monument of our day tour. Qutub Minar is the oldest and tallest brick tower in India with the height of 72.56 meters. It is a five story building built by Qutub-ud din aibak in the last of twelfth century. In the same area we can discover many historical monuments like QUWAT UL ISLAM MOSQUE, ALAI DARWAJA, ALAI MINAR , TOMB OF ILTUTMISH, IRON PILLOR, TOMB OF ALLHA UD DIN KHILJI, MADRSA & many more. Entrance fees- 500 ( Per Person ) Camara fees- free Video Camera fees - 25 11 STOP- GURUDHWARA BANGALA SAHIB This is the biggest Sikh temple of Delhi. This is the main attraction of the entire tour. We will visit this temple and try to understand all the activities going on inside the temple.
