Delft train station
We meet at Delft train station and walk to the windmill where our cool bicycles are waiting for us. You have time to visit the windmill after our ride.
From Delft city centre we head straight to the countryside, we follow the cycle path along the canal untill we hit our first stop.
This is a beautiful farm which belongs to a biofriendly restaurant. At this farm they only produce the amount of fruit and vegetables they need. Meat comes from their own cows, chickens and pigs. They also have an amazingly beautiful beehive.
From this authentic Dutch farm we cycle on through the cosy village. This is where we have a drink and a bite at a restaurant that has a big greenhouse and shares its production with the farm at our previous stop.
On we go, toward an architectural gem: a cycling bridge. From here we have a beautiful view on the canal, the countryside and a windmill.
From the spectacular view we get back on our bicycle to cycle in direction of the cheese farm. Here you can taste fresh raw milk, buy dairy products.
Another 7 km is another dairy farm. We stop here for a farmers' ice cream. Bellies full we cycle along the canals with view on green meadows ( polders) on both side. We arrive at the wetlands. A big river runs through it. We'll have to cross it. How we do this? Find out in this yummie & adventurous bike tour!
