Photography & Videography tour offers not only the best photographic destinations in the western regions of Mongolia but also the opportunity of being part of its diverse cultural and traditional daily life. For two days you will live with a Kazakh eagle hunter in his yurt with his family, learning the oddities of Kazakh culture and its values. You will enjoy the scenery, taking photos of a hunter with his Golden eagle. For two days, you will live with Mongolian nomads in their yurt, enjoying the culture, seeing the lives of the most conservative nomads on earth. You will feel the most local having homemade meals together with the families you will stay.

I was born to a local Mongolian family. Growing up bilingual, speaking Mongolian and Kazakh, I know where the two cultures border. I am an experienced guide and English interpreter, currently studying abroad, I can show and illustrate the values of these similar but fundamentally different cultures from an anthropological and historical perspective. I have led photography tours building up connections and learning the importance of

The itinerary can be changed according to your preferences. It is very flexible. You are to bring your own cameras and other items for photography. Horse-riding can be added and some other activities such as fishing, sightseeing, and hiking.

  • Day 1
    We will meet at the airport. Depending on the time of arrival we will have lunch or breakfast together. From the city, we will head straight to a Kazakh nomad's summer place, where he spends summer. Our photographers will get to shoot Kazakh nomad family's daily life, livestock, traditional items, Kazakh yurt, Golden eagle and of course Kazakh people's photos.
  • Day 2
    You will stay with this family for two nights. On the second day, you will take photos of eagle hunter on his horse, calling of an eagle, possibly hunting with an eagle. Our hunter is eager to pose for better-looking photos according to your preferences. Remember! the landscape where he stays for the Summer is jaw-breaking.
  • Day 3
    On the third morning, after breakfast, we will head to a different area where Mongolian Nomads stay for the summer. You will get to see Mongolian traditional items, traditional instruments, throat singing, folk roles (which was never advertised somehow), and traditional dancing. You will get to take pictures and videos of all that is happening. Remember! these Mongolian are from Uriankhai ethnic group whose tradition and lifestyle differs from the central Mongolians. Recommended for those who had been to the other parts of Mongolia.
  • Day 4
    On the fourth day, if we had postponed any of those that are mentioned above we will continue and finish. The fourth day is dedicated to a shaman meeting and sightseeing. You had been to Mongolian Nomads yurt for two days, living their lives and documenting everything that is odd.
  • Day 5
    On the fifth day, we will get back to the city from where you will depart back to the capital. Depending on the time of your departure we will get to visit the local museum and souvenir shops.
