I grew up in Northern Colorado and have been on the move ever since. I joined the Air Force at a young age and developed a love for travel. A few times a year I travel to overseas, (but usually Africa) to set up new gold mines in remote areas. I have been in remote areas in Ghana, Mali, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Bolivia, Laos and Canada, so I fully understand the challenges of thinking on your toes in new environments. I adapt quickly, and thrive in almost any condition. Oh, and I know some pretty damn good card tricks. Guaranteed to make a group break out in at least a little bit of laughter. I feel like a challenge can help clear the cobwebs, align focus, and build a network that you can stick with for a long time. Using teamwork, mutual trust, and being around other dedicated individuals is the best way I've learned to make friends and colleagues. Having a group that has overcome the expedition challenges together earns respect. For me, earned respect sticks around far longer than just the duration of the expedition. I look forward to potential bonds like that.
